Seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a travel position serving a preschool setting from August 2026 through June 2027. This opportunity is based in Enfield, CT, providing essential psychological services within a school environment.
Responsibilities include conducting typical school psychologist duties such as behavioral assessments, psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, consultation with teachers and families, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role focuses on supporting the developmental and educational needs of preschool-aged children, handling a caseload within that age group to facilitate early intervention and promote positive outcomes.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT PSYCH)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and administrators
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain thorough documentation according to school district and state guidelines
