This contract opportunity runs from December through the end of April and focuses solely on conducting evaluations for early elementary students. Youll dedicate your primary attention to a K-2 campus, with the possibility of completing an occasional evaluation at a nearby parochial site. No counseling duties are requiredyour evaluative expertise will drive student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist (CT PSYCH) license required
- Strong background in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments in school settings
- Familiarity with developmental and learning assessments for K-2 populations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple evaluations
- Ability to collaborate professionally with teachers, administrators, and special services teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K-2, focusing solely on assessment and eligibility
- Compile thorough reports and communicate results clearly to educational teams and families
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding student evaluations and confidentiality
- Coordinate with school teams to schedule and prioritize evaluations efficiently
- Provide occasional support for evaluations at a parochial school as needed
