Step into a fulfilling contract role for the 2026-2027 school year as a valued school psychologist working with preschool students in a supportive educational setting near Enfield, CT. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, allowing you a great work-life balance with a 30-minute lunch break each day. Youll work primarily within a preschool environment, applying your knowledge and passion to serve young children at this crucial stage of development.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Hold active CT School Psychologist licensure
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Proven experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with the standard scope of school psychology responsibilities, including assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct developmental, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments for preschool students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention and support plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Consult with educational teams to promote positive learning environments
- Document and report findings and progress according to school and state requirements
