Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting student development as a School Psychologist working with a welcoming educational community near Elma, WA. This opportunity allows you to play an important role in helping elementary through junior high students reach their full potential while providing essential psychological services and educational support.
Youll work onsite, directly engaging with a caseload of approximately 26 students who require IEP support services. In addition to ongoing caseload management, you will conduct initial evaluations as needed throughout the school year to help identify and address student needs promptly. Whether youre seeking full-time flexibility or a part-time schedule, this position accommodates both.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington School Psychologist License
- ESA Certification for Washington State
- Experience working with IEP caseloads across elementary and junior high levels preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and case management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services to students with IEPs
- Complete comprehensive student assessments and initial evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and review IEPs
- Offer counseling and consultative support to students, staff, and families
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and documentation
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to support special education processes
