In this contract, per-diem opportunity, you will serve a diverse group of elementary through high school students, providing crucial interpretation during district-wide testing scenarios. Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a 3.5 EIPA score
  • Valid GAPSC credential for interpreting
  • Experience or comfort working across a variety of age groups, from elementary to high school
  • Ability to adapt to different school settings and grade levels based on evolving district needs
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting both students and educators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret for students who are deaf or hard of hearing during standardized testing and assessment sessions throughout the district
  • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all interpretation duties
  • Collaborate with school psychologists, teachers, and other staff members to facilitate successful assessment experiences
  • Travel between schools in the district as needed based on testing schedules
  • Provide insight and advocacy for accessibility throughout the testing process
