What Were Looking For:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license, meeting the requirements for practice in Nebraska
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
• Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and promoting positive behavioral interventions
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized recommendations to support academic and behavioral achievement
• Provide direct counseling to students, both individually and in small group settings
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administration to foster a positive learning climate
• Lead and participate in IEP/504 processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and student-centered planning
• Deliver crisis intervention and address urgent mental health concerns as they arise
• Maintain thorough, confidential student records and progress reports
