Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential psychological services in an engaging school environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team to support student growth and well-being throughout the academic year.
Position Overview:
- Contract assignment from August 13, 2026, to May 27, 2027
- Full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours per week)
- Elementary-level caseload
Key Qualifications:
- Active NE PSYCH license required
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Interpret results to guide individualized education planning
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students
- Support teachers and school staff with strategies for classroom management and student success
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to state and district guidelines
