Job Description

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
  • Exceptional communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to support diverse learners and effectively manage a full-time elementary school caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
  • Advocate for students mental health and educational needs within the school community
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
