Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field required
  • Valid Kentucky school psychologist license in good standing
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide consultation and support for teachers and parents regarding student learning and behavioral needs
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Analyze data to inform interventions and recommend strategies to enhance student engagement and wellbeing
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and other educational planning meetings
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with local and state regulations
