Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in school psychology or a related field is required
• Valid Kentucky school psychologist license
• Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and other support professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret the results for students referred for behavioral, academic, or social concerns
• Develop and recommend individualized intervention strategies and support plans
• Counsel students individually and in groups to address academic and non-academic concerns
• Consult with educators, families, and other specialists to create positive and effective learning environments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention and response as situations arise
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with school and legal guidelines
