Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to cover a maternity leave from November 2025 to April 2026. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek in a school setting located in Elizabeth, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contribute to behavioral intervention plans and support school-wide initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working in a school environment as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of state and federal education regulations
