Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) - 2026-27 School Year

Location: Elgin, Texas

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Position Overview:
A school district in Texas is seeking a School Psychologist to support two campuses, including a high school and a portion of a middle school. This role follows a TASB-recommended caseload model and focuses on evaluation, assessment, and student support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, primarily for AU, ED, and related eligibility areas
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as needed
  • Participate in SST meetings to review data and determine need for special education referral
  • Attend monthly assessment and district SPED meetings
  • Collaborate with ARD facilitators (most ARDs are conducted virtually)
  • Support students with a wide range of disabilities

School Assignment:

  • 2 schools (High school + portion of a middle school)

Requirements:

  • Active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) license required
