Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success as a skilled School Psychologist in a contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. This full-time position, located near Elgin, SC, offers a chance to collaborate onsite with a dedicated school staff and provide essential psychological services to a diverse school population.
The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a consistent MondayFriday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. While specific caseload details will be provided, youll be working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning environment for students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Background in delivering psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and social-emotional support within school settings
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Motivation to adapt to new environments and support diverse student needs
- Experience with MTSS/RTI preferred, though not required
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Administer cognitive, educational, and behavioral assessments
- Interpret data to develop evidence-based interventions and recommendations
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as a vital team member
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Support crisis intervention and provide counseling as needed
- Advocate for students well-being and educational success
