Job Description

Exciting contract opportunity available for experienced School Psychologists eager to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Elgin, IL. This onsite, full-time position spans the upcoming school year and offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals supporting student success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Psychologist License (IL PSYCH License)
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience as a School Psychologist within a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological support to students, including counseling and crisis intervention
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and assist with the creation of individualized education plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
