What Were Looking For:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience collaborating in school-based settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for supporting student success and fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students using a variety of tools to determine educational, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide insights for appropriate services and accommodations
- Offer consultation to staff and families on learning and mental health issues
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
