This full-time contract opportunity allows you to serve as a building psychologist, utilizing your expertise and passion for student success in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Illinois (IL) School Psychologist License
- Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention support in school settings
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a variety of assessments to support student learning and mental wellness
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing valuable psychological insights
- Support development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans, ensuring student accommodations are met
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate for all students
