Play a pivotal role in student success as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting schools in the greater Elgin, IL area. This full-time contract opportunity for the upcoming academic year places you at the heart of a dynamic educational environment, working directly onsite with students, educators, and families to foster positive outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH License)
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with students across diverse backgrounds and learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and interventions that support students emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being
- Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in crisis intervention, prevention, and data-driven decision making through ongoing collaboration
