Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled school psychologist to provide essential support to elementary students within a dynamic dual-language learning environment. This contract role spans from March 19 to June 2, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to student success in a collaborative setting.

Location: Elgin, IL (Elementary School)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Deliver timely reporting and maintain accurate case documentation according to district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed or credentialed School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in diverse or dual-language settings.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
  • Availability to work on-site; virtual service delivery is not permitted.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:15 AM 4:00 PM
  • Part-time arrangements (2-3 days per week) may be considered for qualified candidates.
