Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid school psychologist certification or license (Illinois preferred)
  • Strong background in assessment and intervention strategies for children and adolescents
  • Experience with a wide range of disabilities and diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Ability to communicate clearly with students, teachers, families, and administrators
  • Compassion, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a school setting a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support customized student plans
  • Consult with educators and families to develop strategies that foster academic and behavioral success
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of student progress
  • Remain current on best practices and legal frameworks within school psychology
