Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience performing assessments, writing reports, and leading eligibility meetings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with educators, families, and students
  • Sound understanding of IEP/504 processes, IDEA, and current school psychology best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation meetings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to develop and implement interventions
  • Support the development and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Serve as a resource to students and families, delivering counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Contribute your professional insights to help create a supportive, inclusive school environment
