Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators as a School Psychologist in a dynamic K-12 setting. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026 through June 11, 2027 and involves working across two elementary school sites, helping to manage IEPs, BIPs, and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maryland School Psychologist License required
- Experience with behavioral interventions, executive functioning assessments, and cognitive testing
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan processes, plus expertise in conducting eligibility and psychological consultations
- Comfortable supporting MTSS implementation and related data-driven initiatives
- Background working with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and cognitive evaluations for students and interpret findings for educational teams
- Participate in the development, facilitation, and review of IEPs, as well as BIPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support executive functioning and behavioral interventions
- Guide classroom teams in best practices for mental health, behavioral strategies, and academic supports
- Serve as a crucial member of MTSS teams, helping implement targeted and universal interventions
- Provide consultation, resources, and training for staff regarding student mental health and behavioral needs
Position Details and Arrangement:
- Work 35 to 37.5 hours per week during the school year
- Onsite position with the possibility of hybrid scheduling (3 days in person, 2 days remote) or teletherapy (VOCO), depending on candidate preference and school needs
