Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid school psychologist licensure in Michigan
• Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to build rapport and work effectively with students, parents, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine students needs
• Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to individual students
• Develop and implement behavior management and mental health support plans
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to create effective IEPs and 504 Plans
• Engage with parents and guardians, offering insight and guidance on student progress and recommended interventions
• Promote positive school climate initiatives and mental health awareness
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
