Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Current and valid Michigan school psychologist licensure.
  • Experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school environments.
  • Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI frameworks and individualized education program (IEP) processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with both students and staff.
  • Analytical approach to assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students, interpreting and presenting results to staff and families.
  • Develop, implement, and support individualized intervention plans to meet student needs.
  • Serve as a primary resource for staff and parents, providing expert guidance on behavioral, social-emotional, and learning concerns.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, student support teams, and district-wide initiatives.
  • Deliver direct and consultative counseling services to individual students and groups.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate that cultivates student success.
  • Stay current with best practices and state/federal educational policies.
