Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations for special education (IDEA, Section 504)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
- Develop and support implementation of IEPs and 504 plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to identify supports and strategies
- Deliver individual and group counseling/intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, data review sessions, and crisis response
- Provide recommendations that promote student success and well-being
- Maintain thorough, confidential student records in compliance with policy and best practice
