Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven background in K-12 schools or similar educational environments
- Expertise in psychological and psycho-educational assessment tools
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to consult effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of special education processes, laws, and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
- Offer individual and group counseling to support student well-being
- Counsel staff and families to promote student success
- Collect and analyze data to identify student needs and measure progress
- Advocate for student accommodations and help design effective interventions
