Job Description

A school district in Dudley, MA, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services to support students academic, social, and emotional development. This contract role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and administrators to create positive learning environments and address student needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional testing
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide guidance on eligibility determinations
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention strategies and support services
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and provide counseling support as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed reports on assessments and recommendations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts license as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and developing IEPs
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and prioritize multiple cases
