Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid school psychologist credential (state credential or national certification)
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and creating intervention plans
  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school personnel
  • Familiarity with special education procedures and compliance
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Develop evidence-based intervention plans to address students academic or behavioral challenges
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
  • Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and team consultations
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to design programs that support diverse student populations
