Job Description
A school psychologist position is available in a school setting located in Dilworth, MN. This contract role focuses on supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and social abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to meet student needs
- Utilize data-driven approaches to support student achievement and positive behavior
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student development and learning strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory and district policies
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and providing direct psychological services in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with special education laws, practices, and interventions
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
