Job Description

Make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-27 school year as a School Psychologist in a welcoming educational setting. This contract, onsite-only opportunity is full time, offering 40 hours each week, with possible hours falling between 7:00-3:00 or 8:30-4:30 depending on school assignments. Youll collaborate across K-12 grade levels, working closely with teams and making a real difference for students and staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Nebraska state School Psychologist license is required.
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist, with strong skills in student evaluation and case management.
  • Thorough understanding of protocols for identifying and assessing educational disabilities.
  • Skilled in developing behavior and academic intervention plans.
  • Ability to provide school-based counseling for students in crisis.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of Multidisciplinary, Intervention, Crisis, and other school-based teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for K-12 students.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education and intervention plans.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, parents, and students, offering guidance and crisis counseling as needed.
  • Help ensure the safety and well-being of all students by participating on Safety and Building Teams.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in line with professional standards.
