Job Description

This contract role offers the chance to support K-12 students while working alongside multidisciplinary teams to make a meaningful difference in the school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist is required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings is strongly preferred
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior and academic intervention plans
  • Experience providing counseling and crisis intervention in a school environment is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a vital member of Multidisciplinary and Building-Based Teams
  • Assist in identifying students with educational disabilities who may need Special Education services
  • Help design and monitor behavior and academic intervention plans
  • Provide school-based counseling for students in crisis
  • Serve as a resource for staff, parents, and students regarding student mental health and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with Safety Teams and District Crisis Teams as needed

Position Details:

  • Onsite only; no remote or hybrid options
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Most common hours are 7:00-3:00 or 8:30-4:30, depending on the school assignment
  • Caseloads span K-12; specifics discussed during the interview process
