This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to address a diverse range of needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Work closely with educators and families to create supportive learning environments in a leading educational community near Detroit, MI.
Your role will involve working across multiple schools, providing comprehensive psychological services and interventions tailored to individual student needs. Ideal candidates are passionate about student well-being, collaborative in their approach, and experienced in supporting learners in a school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist Certificate is required
- Ability to work effectively with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to support student success
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings for student support
- Offer crisis intervention and serve as a key resource in the development of supportive learning environments
