Job Description

A licensed Michigan School Psychologist is needed for a full-time position during the 2026/2027 school year in Detroit, MI. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with secondary-level students in a dynamic educational setting. The position provides a supportive environment focused on fostering student growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services including assessment, counseling, and intervention for secondary school students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student development and address learning and behavioral needs
  • Conduct evaluations to identify students strengths and challenges, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical guidelines and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must hold valid certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan
  • Proven experience working on-site with secondary-level students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse school communities
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize student needs

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
