In this dynamic, onsite contract opportunity near Detroit, youll support students growth and well-being for the 20262027 academic year as a valued School Psychologist. Shape student outcomes working shoulder-to-shoulder with dedicated educators and familiesdesign individualized interventions, conduct assessments, and help foster a positive, inclusive school climate.

What Youll Bring:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Expertise in student assessment, intervention planning, and psychoeducational evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication, both verbal and written, for working with students, staff, and parents.
  • A solutions-focused, collaborative approach.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret data and recommend strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective intervention plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide data to guide decision-making.
  • Advocate for student mental health and contribute to multi-tiered systems of support.
  • Deliver psychological counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services as needed.
  • Maintain clear and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
