Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract role providing districtwide support as a School Psychologist near Detroit, MI. This onsite, full-time opportunity runs from now through June 12, 2026, and offers the chance to make a significant impact across K-12 student populations. You'll work collaboratively within a supportive environment, conducting initial evaluations and potential re-evaluations, all while being a vital contributor to student success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a current Michigan School Psychologist license
  • Experience with K-12 caseloads in diverse educational settings
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations
  • Provide consultative services, recommending interventions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Develop and interpret Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Assist with crisis interventions and provide behavioral support across the district
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
