Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025/2026 school year in the Detroit, MI area. This role offers the opportunity to work within a K-12 educational setting, managing a diverse caseload while providing vital psychological services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral and educational planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist license is required
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, educational laws, and best practices in school psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school personnel and families
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload efficiently, demonstrating organizational and time management skills

Location: Detroit, MI K-12 school setting
Employment Type: Contract, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
