This position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist in a dynamic K-12 school setting in Detroit, MI. The role is onsite and contract-based, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The focus will be on supporting the diverse needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing psychological services that promote academic achievement and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address student needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist License.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite school environment.
