Job Description

A school psychologist position is available for a contract engagement in Warren, MI, supporting a public school district from ASAP through the end of the school year (6/5/2026). This role requires providing onsite services with a caseload focused primarily on secondary students, with a few elementary cases included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to promote student well-being and academic success
  • Address behavioral and emotional issues through counseling and crisis intervention
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed Michigan Psychologist credential required
  • Experience working as a school psychologist preferred, especially with secondary age students
  • Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention techniques
  • Ability to work onsite full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Location: Warren, MI (onsite only)
