This opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist to provide vital onsite support to students in Detroit, MI. Whether seeking full-time or part-time hours, the role focuses on delivering direct psychological services within a school setting. You'll play a key role in assessing and testing students, conducting eligibility meetings, supporting IEP processes, and performing re-evaluations where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and testing to students
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and eligibility discussions
- Provide direct psychological services tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop plans that enhance student success
- Conduct re-evaluations to monitor student progress and update interventions accordingly
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist License is required
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and meet deadlines
- Commitment to student advocacy and collaborative teamwork
