Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
• Prior experience working as a school psychologist in a school-based setting is required
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strength in communicating with parents, teachers, and administrators
• Experience supporting PreK or early childhood student populations preferred
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and culturally responsive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments and services for PreK students
• Collaborate with teachers and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
• Consult on classroom management and behavior interventions
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations
• Support school-wide initiatives to foster social-emotional learning and positive school climate
• Offer crisis intervention and responsive support when needed
