Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for talented School Psychologists seeking rewarding contract roles for the upcoming academic year. Work full-time from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, Monday through Friday, supporting students and educational teams across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With several roles open, youll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in diverse settingsfrom early childhood screenings to comprehensive evaluations and eligibility meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist licensure in Illinois is required
  • Experience working within schools (elementary, middle, and/or high preferred)
  • Familiarity with special education law and best practices in assessment and interventions
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous involvement in IEP meetings and functional behavioral assessments a plus
  • Ability to travel between school sites for early childhood assessments (for Early Childhood role)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct re-evaluation reviews and eligibility meetings; complete initial evaluations as needed
  • Perform functional behavioral assessments and contribute to the development of intervention plans
  • For Early Childhood role: Screen and assess children ages 35, facilitate smooth transitions from early intervention, and provide guidance for families new to special education processes
  • For K4 role: Evaluate students, facilitate MTSS data team meetings, and support IEP processes (initial and re-evaluations)
  • Maintain clear, compassionate communication with families and collaborate closely with educational teams
