Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students from Kindergarten through 5th grade as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational environment near Des Plaines, IL. As a full-time professional on a contract assignment, youll collaborate with a dedicated special education team to promote student well-being and achieve positive educational outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist credential and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with elementary students (K-5) preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and IEP process
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to support student success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to create positive learning environments
- Advise educators on classroom interventions and social-emotional learning best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation following school and state guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
