Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
- Strong knowledge in conducting re-evaluations and working as part of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams
- Proficiency in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing/monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 student re-evaluations
- Participate actively with the MTSS team to support Tier 3 interventions and decision-making
- Conduct robust FBAs and contribute to BIP development and implementation
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and consultative services
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
- Serve as a valuable resource for staff development in behavioral and academic interventions
- Cultivate a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
