Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge in conducting re-evaluations and working as part of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams
  • Proficiency in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing/monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 student re-evaluations
  • Participate actively with the MTSS team to support Tier 3 interventions and decision-making
  • Conduct robust FBAs and contribute to BIP development and implementation
  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and consultative services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Serve as a valuable resource for staff development in behavioral and academic interventions
  • Cultivate a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
