This full-time school-based opportunity offers an engaging way to make a meaningful difference as a licensed School Psychologist working with a variety of ages, from elementary to high school. The assignment spans August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, providing steady, contract-based work for the academic year. Expect a dynamic schedule Monday through Friday, with 3740 hours weekly. This district provides professionals with the chance to focus deeply on assessments, program eligibility, and supporting student success across several campuses.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in the state of Illinois is required
- Experience with functional behavioral assessments, re-evaluation reviews, and eligibility meetings strongly preferred
- Familiarity working across elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong organizational, time management, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical practices and up-to-date knowledge of SPED/IDEA procedures
- Candidates must be available to work on-site (this district does not support remote/VOCO work)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, including re-evaluations and some initial evaluations
- Participate actively in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Complete functional behavioral assessments as part of student support plans
- Provide consultative and direct support to staff and families regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
