Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Masters, Educational Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and counseling strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
  • Prior school-based experience is desirable, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and supportive interventions
  • Offer consultative services on classroom management and learning strategies
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, case conferences, and student support teams
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
