Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current or eligible School Psychologist state licensure
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred; internships and practicum welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer standardized and curriculum-based assessments to evaluate student needs
  • Prepare thorough written reports and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings to provide expert input and recommendations
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services as needed for individual students or small groups
  • Assist in crisis response and behavioral management interventions within the school community
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to enhance student learning and emotional well-being
  • Maintain adherence to confidentiality standards and school district policies
