Step into an impactful role serving students at two elementary schools in a vibrant community near Denver, CO. This full-time, onsite position spans from now through May 2027, offering the opportunity to build lasting relationships and contribute meaningfully to student growth. You'll be supporting a manageable caseload, collaborating with dedicated teams, and making a true difference every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Current 'Professional Special Services License' (Colorado Dept of Education) or eligibility with application in progress.
- Experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings.
- Outstanding communication and interview skillsable to articulate experience and strategies with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Energetic, engaging, and positive attitude.
- Insightful about the local area or actively researching housing and travel options if relocating.
- Comfortable with a two-stage interview process: first with special education leadership, then with school administration.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, consultation, and intervention, for a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster optimal student outcomes.
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
- Support a positive and inclusive school climate through proactive strategies and staff collaboration.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with all state and district requirements.
