Job Description

This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, serving PreK12 students within a collaborative, supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Your expertise will play a key role supporting student well-being as you collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to assess and address diverse educational and mental health needs. If you thrive in a varied and impactful setting, this could be the perfect fit for your skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and current NCDPI School Psychologist license (must be active and attached with submission)
  • Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
  • Previous experience in school settings, with a strong background in psychoeducational evaluation
  • Comfortable working with diverse PreK12 populations
  • Strong consultative, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of disabilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention and response
  • Facilitate consultations and conferences with parents and staff
  • Participate actively on multidisciplinary district-level teams
  • Deliver training and resources to school staff to support student mental health
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to meet students needs
  • Participate in other assigned duties to support student success
