An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact across multiple PK-12 campuses in the Denham Springs region. This contract role (29 hours per week, open to hybrid arrangements) begins on July 27, 2026, with a couple of professional development days to start, followed by a school-year commitment through May 24, 2027. The district is moving quickly, with interviews starting as soon as July 22.

In this position, youll collaborate as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams, conduct psychoeducational assessments, and contribute essential insights to support student success across several schools. Efforts will focus on students from kindergarten through grade twelve, offering variety and challenge in your daily work.

What youll bring:

• Current Louisiana DOE certification in School Psychology
• Experience in conducting and interpreting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, as well as writing evaluation reports
• Thorough knowledge of special education eligibility criteria, IDEA compliance, and collaborative processes with school teams
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple caseloads and meeting documentation timelines
• Proven ability to communicate complex assessment findings clearly to families and staff
• Professionalism in maintaining student records and case files
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Willingness to complete district-required background check and fingerprinting

• Serve as a resource for students, families, and staff by providing assessments, referral services, and consultation
• Work directly with children, families, and school personnel to support positive outcomes
• Collaborate with educational diagnosticians, speech-language pathologists, administrators, and others
• Participate in school-based in-service training and support ongoing professional learning
• Ensure assessment instruments and results are appropriately managed and reported within required timelines
