Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across a diverse range of ages as an onsite School Psychologist. This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Dekalb, IL, offers the chance to work with students ages 3-21 in a supportive educational environment. Youll have the chance to collaborate across 23 buildings, providing crucial services and assessments to students in need.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License with an endorsement as a School Psychologist (required)
  • Previous experience serving school-aged children and adolescents strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and data analysis abilities
  • Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students ages 321
  • Develop recommendations and participate in the creation of individualized education and intervention plans
  • Offer direct counseling and support to students, as well as consult with teachers and parents
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across 23 school buildings
  • Maintain comprehensive reports and adhere to required documentation standards
  • Support a positive, inclusive school culture focused on student well-being
