Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist
  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Prior experience conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and supporting 504 plans
  • Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns among students
  • Participate in the development of IEPs and 504 plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Offer expert consultation to school staff on learning and behavior support
  • Facilitate crisis intervention as needed, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
