Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Graduate degree (Ed.S., MA, or PhD) in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience in an educational setting preferred
- Competence with assessments, testing, and intervention planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and outside agencies
- Knowledge of IEP and special education processes
- Organized and detail-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for referred students
- Interpret assessment results to develop actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with the development of educational plans
- Consult with staff to promote positive student behavior and learning outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling support when appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
