Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Specialists degree in School Psychology or equivalent
  • Experience conducting psychological, behavioral, and academic assessments
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, and emotional development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on the creation and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to recommend interventions and strategies
  • Provide direct or indirect counseling to students, as appropriate
  • Analyze and interpret assessment results to guide instructional and behavioral interventions
  • Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs
