Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state credential required)
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, functional behavior analyses, and developing interventions
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and building rapport with children, families, and school teams
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP meetings, and documentation
- Ability to handle confidential student information with care and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design and implement interventions or strategies that support student success
- Provide counseling services to individual students and groups as needed
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute valuable insights to IEP development
- Provide crisis intervention and support, helping to maintain a safe and supportive school environment
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
