Job Description

A School Psychologist position is available for the 20262027 school year in the Dearborn, MI area. This contract role involves delivering psychological services and support to students, working directly within the school setting to foster their mental health, well-being, and academic success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Promoting positive mental health practices and supporting a safe school environment
  • Providing consultation on student learning, behavior, and emotional health to school personnel
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary

Qualifications and experience needed:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Work Environment:

  • This position requires onsite presence within the school.
  • Full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week.
